In Memoriam

Bill Fischer passed away on May 7, 2019. Bill was a native of Fort Collins, received his B.S. in Natural Resource Management from Colorado State University and his J.D. at the University of Puget Sound.

Bill devoted 35 years of his life to the northern Colorado water law community. He was a third generation water attorney with the firm of Fischer, Brown, Bartlett & Gunn, P.C., following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Albert Fischer, and father, Ward Fischer.  In addition to being a cornerstone of the firm his grandfather founded, he had a wealth of knowledge, and truly enjoyed the intricacies of his practice and serving the clients. Bill was well respected for his ability to practice law in the water bar community with respect for all parties, integrity and honesty. Bill was an avid outdoorsman, a dedicated husband to his wife Kathy, and wonderful father to his sons, Bryan and Grant.
